President Zardari Thanks UAE for Support, Meets Outgoing Ambassador Al-Zaabi
Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday held a farewell meeting with the outgoing Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi, at Aiwan-e-Sadr.
During the interaction, the President acknowledged the UAE’s valuable support to Pakistan in times of need and praised Ambassador Al-Zaabi for his efforts to deepen diplomatic engagement and people-to-people contacts.
He reaffirmed that Pakistan considers the UAE a close and brotherly country with which it seeks to build an even stronger partnership. Highlighting opportunities in trade, investment, and regional connectivity, President Zardari underscored the importance of expanding cooperation across diverse sectors.
Congratulating Ambassador Al-Zaabi on completing his tenure in Islamabad, the President appreciated his services in advancing bilateral ties and wished him success in his future assignments.
