Islamabad :Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday visited the Jinnah Convention Center to assess the preparations for the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Council of Heads of Government meeting, scheduled to be held in Islamabad on October 15-16.
During the visit, the prime minister received a detailed briefing from the Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Senior officials, including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal, and Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar, were also present.
Expressing satisfaction with the arrangements, the prime minister lauded the efforts of the authorities involved in ensuring a successful and smooth conduct of the high-profile SCO meeting.
