Islamabad : A Qatari technical delegation,under the leadership of Colonel Ahmed Abdullah Al-Abdullahv isited the Ministry of Climate Change and met with Romina Khurshid Alam, the Prime Minister’s Coordinator for Climate Change. The discussions centered around cooperation in climate change, environment, water management, energy, forestry, and disaster management.
Romina Khurshid Alam shared insights into various clean and green initiatives undertaken by the Prime Minister, highlighting Pakistan’s commitment to environmental sustainability. The Qatari delegation assured their full support in addressing climate change, environmental protection, national disasters, and flood prevention.
Emphasizing the significance of climate diplomacy, Romina Khurshid Alam stressed the need for collaboration with different countries to promote effective climate action.
