UK Foreign Secretary Visits Islamabad, Reaffirms Commitment to Strengthening Ties with Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: British Foreign Secretary David Lammy arrived in Islamabad today on an official visit to Pakistan. Upon his arrival at the Foreign Office, he was warmly received by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar. The two leaders held wide-ranging discussions on regional developments, including the Pakistan-India ceasefire. Senator Dar appreciated the United Kingdom’s constructive role in promoting de-escalation in the region. Both sides reviewed the state of bilateral relations and reaffirmed their shared commitment to further strengthening ties, with a focus on enhancing economic and trade cooperation.
