Islamabad, : Youth Forum for Kashmir (YFK) observed the UN International Day in Support of Victims of Torture with an in-house session dedicated to the victims of torture in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). The session featured a panel of distinguished speakers, including Dr. Mujahid Gillani, President of the Kashmir Youth Alliance, Barrister Nida Salam, a renowned legal expert and human rights activist, Asif Khurshid, Editor of Global Diplomacy Lens, and Zaman Bajwa, Executive Director of YFK.
The session commenced with an introduction to the significance of the UN International Day in Support of Victims of Torture, highlighting the global commitment to the eradication of torture and the support for its victims. participants from different walks of life attended the event, underscoring the community’s dedication to addressing human rights violations in IIOJK.
